Editorial Team

BeatzHive is an independent music and entertainment publication covering Afrobeats and the wider African music scene — new releases, artist moves, and the conversations around them.

Who we are

BeatzHive is produced by a small editorial desk publishing under the BeatzHive Editorial byline. We are music enthusiasts first: our coverage is rooted in following the Nigerian, Ghanaian, and South African scenes daily — the releases, the collaborations, and the culture around them.

How our coverage works

Release coverage starts from public announcements and listings across the African music ecosystem. Every post is checked against its source before publishing: artist and title, featured acts, and any project details come from the release itself, and we do not publish claims we cannot trace to a source. Where a story involves reporting from elsewhere, we attribute it.

We use modern editorial tools to help research and draft coverage at the pace new music drops, with editorial standards applied to every post: no invented quotes or numbers, no lyric reproduction, and no pretending to have heard a record we haven’t. Our full rules are in our Editorial Policy.

Music on BeatzHive

We never host or distribute audio files. Music on this site plays only through official, artist-authorised players — Audiomack and YouTube embeds — so streams always count for the artist. Artists and PR teams can reach us through Submit New Music.
