Darkoo and Asake have joined forces on THAT GIRL!, a new Afrobeats single that pairs two artists operating from very different corners of the same scene. It arrives as a standalone joint release rather than a lead-artist-plus-feature arrangement, with both names sharing top billing.

The billing itself is the story here. Darkoo broke through from the UK side of the Afrobeats conversation, where the genre’s crossover with British rap and R&B audiences has produced some of its biggest streaming moments in recent years.
