A student of Chrisland High School, Abuja, Nwosu Uchenna Hilary, has become the toast of social media after reportedly recording A1 in every one of the nine subjects he sat for in the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). His father, Nwosu Ezenwa Osunbor, announced the result in a Facebook post on Thursday, August 6, 2026, and the news quickly drew widespread congratulations from Nigerians online.

Perfect Grades Across Nine Subjects After a 297 UTME Score

According to the result shared online, Uchenna earned the top grade in Economics, Geography, Civic Education, English Language, Further Mathematics, General Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Digital Technologies. Not a single B, C or lower grade appeared anywhere on the slip — a complete sweep of A1s across the board.

His overjoyed father made no attempt to hide his pride in the announcement, writing: ”My people abeg make una help me see my second son Uchenna Nwosu WAEC !! 9 NO BE 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 I MEAN 9 A1…”

The WAEC triumph did not come in isolation. The elder Nwosu revealed that his son had earlier scored 297 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), a combination many commenters described as exceptional. He also used the moment to celebrate his daughter, Chixaram Nwosu, who recorded her own success in the Junior WAEC examination around the same period, adding: “Scored 297 in Jamb!! However, he admitted to having a unique connection with a 69-year-old white woman known as Winnie, whom he identifies as both a fan and a friend. This connection goes beyond casual friendship as evidence indicating a series of cash exchanges between Ifeanyi Nwosu and the elderly woman have come to light.
